About Dr. Stephenson
Dr. Laila Stephenson, born and raised in Canada, is a seasoned physical therapist with decades of experience in patient-centered care at leading academic institutions across Canada and the U.S.
Dr. Stephenson earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in Arizona.
Dr. Stephenson specializes in orthopedics, neurology, acute and post-surgical care, and the treatment of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). She is certified in conducting Montreal Cognitive Assessments (MOCA) and is highly skilled in addressing a diverse range of patient needs with precision and care.
In addition to her physical therapy expertise, she is trained in functional medicine through The Institute for Functional Medicine and has been mentored by renowned experts such as Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Patrick Hanaway, and Dr. Jeffrey Bland, to name a few.
